One person and dozens of animals killed, eight people injured in Kyiv Oblast after Russian attacks

Russian troops attacked Kyiv Oblast overnight into Friday, killing one person in the Bucha district and injuring another eight, while striking residential buildings and a veterinary clinic, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reported.

The Kyiv regional police told hromadske that there is currently one confirmed death in the region and eight injured people — including one minor. The final number of injured people is still being determined.

One person died in the Bucha district. Rescuers extinguished a car fire.

In Chabany, Fastiv district, fires broke out in a veterinary clinic, a nearby car, and a private residential building. About 20 animals died at the veterinary clinic, and police are working at the scene.

In total, two houses and an administrative building were damaged in the Fastiv district, and two people were injured. There were no injuries among the people at the veterinary clinic.

In the Obukhiv district, a residential high-rise building was hit, but there were no casualties. And in the village of Kriukivshchyna, the roof of a five-story residential building was damaged.

Since last night, Russian troops have been conducting a massive attack on Ukraine, launching drones and missiles. As a result of the massive missile and drone assault, emergency power outages have been implemented in several regions, including Kyiv.
