Russia fires 22 missiles at Lviv overnight; rescuers still searching under rubble
Russian forces launched 22 missiles at the city of Lviv overnight into July 30, with most intercepted but some striking the city directly, Mayor Andriy Sadovyi said, according to Novyny.Live.
At least 21 residential buildings, two kindergartens, and one school were damaged in the attack.
In one of the buildings where rubble removal is ongoing, entire floors were effectively sheared off. Rescuers are searching for survivors, assisted by local residents.
As of 9:32 a.m., the number of injured rose to 26, while two people were considered missing. The search-and-rescue operation is still underway.
13 of the injured are in the hospital. One person is in serious condition. Children are among the victims, and one child has been hospitalized.
The figures remain preliminary because the rescue operation is continuing. Emergency workers have already rescued seven people.

Overnight into July 30, Russian forces put strategic aviation aircraft in the air and launched ballistic and cruise missiles at Ukraine. The main direction of the strike was western Ukraine.
In Kyiv, one person was killed, while five others were injured in the surrounding region. Near Kryvyi Rih, Russian forces struck a private home where a large family lived with a ballistic missile, killing six people, including three children, and injuring eight others, including two children.
In Poltava Oblast, Russian strikes hit the warehouses of a private enterprise and a Nova Poshta delivery company terminal, killing one person.
