Ukrainian military intelligence reportedly destroys another Russian vessel in Black Sea
Ukrainian Defense Intelligence destroyed another naval vessel of the Russian fleet in the waters of the Black Sea in an overnight attack, said the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Andriy Yusov, on the national telethon.
"Details will come a little later. The work of special units of the DIU of the Ministry of Defense. Sea strike, everything is accurate. Minus one more enemy ship," he noted.
The DIU later specified that a successful attack was made on the Russian raid tug project 498 Saturn or Proteus near the coast of the occupied Crimea. The ship is destroyed.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation claimed that air defense forces allegedly destroyed or intercepted 13 Ukrainian drones over the occupied Crimea.
At the same time, Ukrainian intelligence drones earlier attacked an oil depot in Belgorod Oblast in the early hours of June 6. Russia also reported a night drone attack on the Novoshakhtinsky oil refinery in Rostov Oblast (partly owned by Viktor Medvedchuk).
