Martial law introduced in South Korea
South Korean President Yun Suk Yeol has announced that martial law has been imposed in the country. He accused the opposition of “anti-state activities that involve rebellion”. After that, a number of restrictions were introduced in the country, and the parliament building was blocked.
Subsequently, MPs voted to lift martial law. The president has already agreed to this.
Amid this situation, thousands of people are demanding the president's impeachment.
Minister of National Unity appointed in Ukraine
The Verkhovna Rada voted in favor of a resolution appointing Oleksii Chernyshov as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Unity of Ukraine.
Meanwhile, the government has decided to rename the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories to the Ministry of National Unity.
Ukraine officially rejects formats that replace NATO membership
Ukraine has officially rejected any formats of security guarantees that could be offered as an alternative to NATO membership.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained that due to the “bitter experience” of the Budapest Memorandum, Kyiv will not agree to any alternatives.
Attackers of Ukrainian teenagers sentenced to prison for murder in Germany
Four teenagers who killed two Ukrainian basketball players, 17-year-old Volodymyr Yermakov and 18-year-old Artem Kozachenko, have been sentenced to prison in Germany.
The court did not find a xenophobic motive in the crime, although prosecutors had previously suggested that the boys were attacked because they came from Ukraine.

Defense forces drive Russians from right bank of Oskil river in Kharkiv region
Ukrainian troops eliminated a Russian bridgehead on the right bank of the Oskil River in the Kupiansk sector of Kharkiv region. The soldiers cleared the village of Novomlynsk and pushed the enemy back to the left bank.
Putin's planes used to deport Ukrainian children
Russian leader Vladimir Putin's planes and funds were used in a program to remove children from the Ukrainian territories occupied by Russia to “strip them of their Ukrainian identity and place them with Russian families”, according to a report by the Yale University School of Public Health.
The study identified 314 Ukrainian children taken to Russia during the first months of the Russian invasion as part of a “systematic, Kremlin-funded program of their Russification”.
Court remanded 19-year-old participant of fatal accident in Dnipro to custody
The court sentenced a 19-year-old man whom the police call the culprit of the accident in Dnipro, where a 10-year-old girl died, to two months in custody. The suspect himself does not admit his guilt and refused to say whether he was driving at the time of the accident.
