Ukrainian Armed Forces begin transition to corps-based command system — Syrskyi

Ukraine’s military command has begun implementing measures to transition to a corps-based structure of command and control of troops, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi said in a statement.
Syrskyi also said that the strengthening of the Ground Forces, Airborne Assault Forces, Marine Corps, and Unmanned Systems Forces is ongoing by increasing the number of unmanned systems in their composition.
In addition, General Syrskyi reported that during January, it was possible to increase the number of units being withdrawn to restore combat readiness, and there are already corresponding plans for the next period.
Regarding the situation at the front, the Ukrainian army chief noted that the situation is difficult, but the Defense Forces are fighting back with dignity. Syrskyi stressed that currently the main efforts are focused on holding the lines, preventing the enemy from advancing, strengthening the training of military personnel, and increasing the unmanned component.
