Ukraine returns bodies of 757 fallen soldiers
The bodies of 757 deceased Ukrainian soldiers who fought on various fronts were returned to Ukraine with the assistance of the Red Cross, reported the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.
Among the fallen defenders are those who fought in:
- Kurakhove sector;
- Pokrovsk sector;
- Bakhmut sector;
- Vuhledar sector;
- Luhansk sector;
- Zaporizhzhia sector.
The bodies of Ukrainians were also returned from morgues in Russia.
The bodies of the soldiers will be transported to designated state specialized institutions and handed over to law enforcement officers and forensic experts. The identities of the fallen will be established as soon as possible.
