Over 40 explosions: Drones attack seaport and refinery in Tuapse, Russia
Overnight on Tuesday, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense and other units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the Tuapse Oil Refinery, located in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai, an intelligence source told hromadske.
According to our interlocutor, the attack on the facility resulted in at least 40 explosions, a fire, and damage to oil refining equipment.
Locals also shared photos and videos of the aftermath of the damage and reported an attack on the seaport.
Detailed information regarding the results of the operation is being clarified.
The complex of affected facilities plays an important role in ensuring the military logistics of the Russian army. The oil terminal in Tuapse is one of the largest in the Russian Federation, and the Tuapse port is one of the key Russian cargo ports on the Black Sea, which is also a logistics hub connected to the railway network, allowing the transport of cargo from the central and southern regions of the Russian Federation.

Overnight, explosions were heard over Krasnodar Krai and other regions of the Russian Federation. The Russian Defense Ministry claimed that 128 drones were destroyed overnight.
According to the Astra Telegram channel, three houses were also damaged in Tuapse, but there were no casualties.
There were also reports of explosions in the sky over Anapa, where Russian air defenses were likely operating. The Sochi airport stopped accepting and sending flights.
