Russian strikes on Donetsk Oblast: 7 more people killed, 11 injured in one day

Russian attacks on February 26 killed 7 people and injured 11 more in Donetsk Oblast. The largest number of casualties was in Kostiantynivka, as reported by the Donetsk Oblast Military Administration.

According to police, Russian troops dropped 10 FAB-250 bombs on Kostiantynivka and attacked the city twice with Smerch MLRS.

It is currently known that six people have died. Among them are men aged 31, 56, 57 and 75, and a 47-year-old woman.

Ten civilians, aged 33 to 83, were also injured. They were diagnosed with mine-explosive injuries, shrapnel wounds, lacerations, contusions, and fractures.

In the city, 11 private houses, 18 high-rise buildings, an administrative building, an infrastructure facility, 5 enterprises, 12 shopping pavilions, 10 garages, 8 power lines, 4 gas pipelines, 9 cars, 2 trucks, a tractor, and a bus were damaged.

At night, the Russians shelled five settlements, including Pokrovsk, killing one person and wounding another.

In Illinivka, two private houses and a power grid were damaged as a result of a FAB-250 bomb launch. In Pokrovsk, a private house was damaged, in Rodynske, an apartment building and three garages, and in Dovha Balka and Bahatyr, one private house each.

Law enforcement officers have begun pre-trial investigations into criminal proceedings into the commission of war crimes (Parts 1, 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
