Ukrainian forces hit Russian missile unit in Bryansk Oblast, foil likely Kyiv attack

Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a Russian missile unit near Klintsy, Bryansk Oblast, on Thursday, destroying one Iskander launcher and likely damaging two others, potentially preventing an attack on Kyiv, the General Staff reported.
This is a unit of the 26th missile brigade of the Russian Federation, which tried to strike one of the settlements of Ukraine, likely Kyiv, from Klintsy.
As a result of the attack by the Ukrainian military, one Russian missile launcher detonated, and two more were likely damaged.
“Effective and timely combat work of Ukrainian defenders allowed to avoid civilian casualties,” the General Staff stated.
