Ukraine's air defenses destroy almost 5,000 drones and missiles over Ukraine in June
Throughout June, Ukraine’s air defense units destroyed 4,750 Russian aerial assets used to attack Ukraine, the Ukrainian Air Force reported.
In June, the following were neutralized over Ukraine:
- 93 Kh-101/Kh-55SM cruise missiles
- 14 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles
- 12 Kalibr cruise missiles
- 13 Kh-59/69 guided air missiles
- 27 Iskander-K cruise missiles
- 2,453 Shahed attack UAVs
- 659 reconnaissance UAVs
- 1,479 other types of UAVs
The Ukrainian Air Force conducted 895 sorties in June:
- Approximately 580 for fighter aviation cover
- Over 220 for fire strikes and troop support
In June 2025, Ukraine’s Defense Forces aviation destroyed 646 air targets, struck command posts, logistical facilities, and enemy personnel and equipment clusters.
