Ukraine's air defenses down 61 Russian drones, hit by missiles

Overnight into Monday, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 136 drones of various types and four S-300/400 anti-aircraft guided missiles, according to a statement from the Ukrainian Air Force.
Military sources noted that approximately 90 of the 136 drones launched by Russia were Shahed drones.
The aerial assault was countered by Ukraine’s aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Preliminary data as of 8:30 AM indicated that air defenses downed 61 drones across northern, eastern, and central Ukraine. Additionally, 47 decoy drones were either lost to radar or suppressed by electronic warfare.
The Air Force did not report the destruction of the S-300/400 missiles. It recorded 28 drone strikes in 10 locations and debris from downed drones falling in four locations.
