Ukrainian forces neutralize 178 Russian drones
From Monday evening into the early hours of Tuesday, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 267 Shahed strike drones and various types of decoy drones. Ukrainian air defenses successfully neutralized 178 targets, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
The drones were launched from several locations, including Oryol, Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and the temporarily occupied Donetsk Oblast. Of the 267 drones launched, over 200 were Shahed models.
The aerial assault was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces.
As a result of these efforts, 178 enemy drones, including Shahed and other types, were neutralized across the north, south, east, and center of the country.
Additionally, 66 decoy drones were either lost to radar or suppressed by electronic warfare means. Seven locations were hit by 23 drones.
