Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 78 strike drones, including Shahed models and various decoy drones, launched from Oryol, Kursk, and occupied Crimea’s Hvardiyske, the Ukrainian Air Force reported.
The Air Force noted that a distinctive feature of the attack was Russia’s use of approximately eight jet-powered drones in the northern direction.

Preliminary data as of 9:00 a.m. indicates that air defenses shot down or suppressed 51 drones in Ukraine’s northern and eastern regions.
27 drones struck seven locations, with debris from downed drones falling in two locations.
