Ukraine's General Staff reveals consequences of attack on facilities in Russia's Bryansk Oblast

Overnight, Ukrainian forces targeted several critical Russian facilities, including the Unecha oil pumping station in Bryansk Oblast, according to the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces.

The station supports Russia’s military operations. The General Staff reported confirmed hits and a large-scale fire near the station’s booster pumping facility.

Explosions were also noted around the reservoir park and the area housing main and booster pumps. Details on the full extent of the damage are still being clarified.

Local social media groups earlier reported a series of explosions in Unecha and surrounding areas, followed by a fire at the Unecha linear production and dispatch station, with emergency services dispatched to the scene.

The Unecha station facilitates oil transport for two pipelines, with an annual capacity to process 60 million tons of raw materials.

“The Defense Forces continue to take all measures to undermine the military-economic potential of the Russian occupiers, disrupt their fuel and lubricant supplies, and force Russia to halt its armed aggression against Ukraine,” the General Staff stated.

The attack was carried out by units of Ukraine’s Missile Forces and Artillery, Unmanned Systems Forces, Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, and other components of the Defense Forces.
