On Wednesday, Russian troops used drones to target civilian cars and an ambulance in the Kherson and Donetsk oblasts, resulting in deaths and injuries, according to Ukraine’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, State Emergency Service, and regional prosecutors.

Around 8:00 a.m., Russian forces struck a civilian car on the Novoraisk-Kostyrka highway in Kherson Oblast’s Beryslav district with a drone-dropped explosive.

A man was killed instantly, and rescuers extracted a woman from the vehicle, but she died en route to the hospital.

While Ukrainian law enforcement conducted the evacuation, Russian forces launched a follow-up strike, wounding three police officers.
