Ukraine's General Staff confirms strikes on Russian oil refineries, logistics targets

Overnight, Ukraine’s Defense Forces conducted strikes on Russia’s Afipsky and Kuibyshev oil refineries, as well as several Russian logistics facilities, according to a statement from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Units of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces and the Main Intelligence Directorate targeted the Afipsky Oil Refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai. This facility supports the Russian military, producing primarily gasoline and diesel fuel, with an annual processing capacity of 6.25 million tons of oil, the General Staff noted.
Additionally, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces and Special Operations Forces struck the Kuibyshev Oil Refinery in Russia’s Samara Oblast. The plant produces over 30 types of petroleum products, including gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil, and solvents, with a processing capacity of 7 million tons of oil per year.
Ukraine’s Defense Forces also attacked ammunition depots and various logistics facilities used to support Russian armed forces, located both in Russia and on temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories.
Earlier, Russian Telegram channels reported fires at the Novokuibyshevsk and Afipsky refineries following drone attacks. Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed to have shot down 102 drones overnight.
