Russia reports drone attack on Rostov Oblast railway, trains delayed
Russian authorities reported a drone attack on the Kuteinikovo railway station in Rostov Oblast, causing train delays, according to Acting Governor Yuri Slyusar and Russian Railways.
The attack damaged the railway’s contact network, and an unexploded ordnance landed on the station building’s roof, prompting the evacuation of all staff and passengers.
At least 26 trains were delayed, with some disruptions lasting over four hours.
Russia’s Ministry of Defense claimed it shot down 105 Ukrainian drones overnight, with 25 reportedly destroyed over Rostov Oblast. Ukraine has not commented on the incident.
