Ukrainian forces strike Russian explosives plant and Crimea oil terminal

Ukrainian Defense Forces hit a major Russian explosives factory in Dzerzhinsk and an oil transshipment complex in occupied Crimea overnight into Monday, the General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces reported.
The strikes targeted the Sverdlov Plant in Russia's Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, one of the country's largest producers of explosives, the General Staff said.
The facility manufactures nearly all types of Russian ammunition, including aviation and artillery shells, aerial bombs, warheads for cumulative anti-tank guided missiles, engineering munitions and missile heads for air defense systems.
Defense Forces also struck the Marine Oil Terminal in Feodosia, Crimea, a multifunctional complex for transferring oil and petroleum products from rail tank cars to seagoing vessels and trucks, as well as the reverse, the General Staff said. The site supports the Russian occupation army's logistics.
Military officials reported a large-scale fire at the terminal following the successful strike.
A hit also targeted an ammunition depot of a separate material support battalion of Russia's 18th Combined Arms Army in occupied Crimea, with damage assessments ongoing.
"Defense Forces continue to take all measures to undermine the military-economic potential of Russian occupiers and force Russia to cease its armed aggression against Ukraine," the General Staff said.
