Ukrainian long-range drone-missiles prove more effective, Zelenskyy says

Ukrainian long-range drone-missiles are showing greater effectiveness, particularly in destroying Russian air defense systems, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said after a meeting with Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) head Vasyl Maliuk.
Maliuk briefed Zelenskyy on the results of long-range strikes carried out by SBU forces, as well as SBU military actions on the Pokrovsk axis. He reported that SBU's Alpha Center special forces eliminated 3,028 Russian troops in September.
"We note that Russian troops have been ordered to storm our positions at all costs. As a result, Russian losses have increased substantially. The Security Service’s warriors alone – and only in the Pokrovsk sector – are now eliminating more than 100 occupiers per day, not taking into account the results achieved by other components of our Defense and Security Forces," Zelenskyy wrote.
The SBU is also continuing efforts to dismantle Russian agent networks.
"I have also approved our operations aimed at reducing Russia’s military potential," the president added.
Ukraine's long-range strikes
Recently, when journalists asked Zelenskyy if Ukraine is using its long-range Flamingo missile-drones against Russia, he sidestepped a direct answer to avoid "preparing the enemy."
"The key is understanding that in recent days, Ukraine has used only Ukrainian-made products—not just drones. From the strike footage on social media, I think you can tell where drones were used and where they weren't. I'd like to thank not only the fighters but also the manufacturers. We're expecting greater capabilities, but they depend on our financial abilities," Zelenskyy said.
