Russian forces unleashed 162 drones at Ukraine overnight into Monday, with Ukrainian air defenses downing 125 of them, the Air Force of Ukraine's Armed Forces reported.

The aggressor launched more than 80 Shaheds, along with Gerbera and other unmanned aerial vehicles, from Kursk, Bryansk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Hvardiyske in occupied Crimea.

Ukrainian aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare teams, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups repelled the aerial assault.

As of 9 a.m., air defenses had downed or suppressed 125 Russian drones over the north, south and east.

Hits were recorded from 37 strike drones at 15 locations, plus debris fallout at one site. Civilian infrastructure and private homes suffered the most damage in Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts.
