Russian troops attack Ukraine with missiles and drones. Hits recorded at 10 locations

Russian forces launched nine missiles and 165 strike drones at Ukraine overnight into Monday. Defenders neutralized 137 targets, according to Ukraine's Air Force.

About 100 of the Russian-launched drones were Shaheds. The enemy also attacked with Gerbera UAVs and other types of drones.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems subunits, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's Defense Forces.

As of 8 a.m., air defenses downed 137 enemy Shahed, Gerbera and other-type drones in the north, center, and east of the country.

Ballistic/guided anti-aircraft missile hits and 26 strike drones were recorded at 10 locations, with debris falls at nine locations.

Military warned the enemy attack continues as several Russian UAVs remain in Ukrainian airspace.

Overnight, Russian forces attacked Kyiv and the region. In the capital, Russians hit a medical facility, resulting in one death and injuries; in Kyiv Oblast, residential homes and critical infrastructure came under attack. A man was killed in the Fastiv district.
