Russians tried to break through in Kharkiv Oblast via Soyuz pipeline (VIDEO)

Russian troops tried to use the Soyuz gas pipeline to advance in Kharkiv Oblast. Ukrainian air assault troops stopped the assault, according to the 7th Rapid Response Corps of Ukraine's Air Assault Troops.
Military sources said occupiers attempted to use the pipeline for a covert approach and subsequent force buildup.

Russian forces operated north of Novoplatonivka in Kharkiv Oblast — toward Nova Kruhliakivka and Zahryzove. The breakthrough attempt involved about 50 soldiers.
But the 77th Separate Airmobile Naddnipryanska Brigade of the 7th Rapid Response Corps Air Assault Troops timely detected the aggressor’s intentions and, coordinating with adjacent units, halted the Russian assault.
Military sources confirmed at least 40 Russian soldiers eliminated.
"As a result of the operation, the enemy failed to achieve its objectives, and the situation in the responsibility zone is stabilized," the corps said.
