Defense Forces hit oil depot in Russia's Belgorod Oblast and Donetsk warehouse — General Staff

Overnight into Wednesday, Defense Forces units struck an oil depot in Russia's Belgorod Oblast and a material-technical supplies warehouse in occupied Donetsk Oblast, according to Ukraine's Armed Forces General Staff.

On Tuesday evening, Belgorod regional governor said a drone attacked an oil depot in Stary Oskol town. The General Staff noted: troops struck the Oskolneftesnab oil depot near Kotel settlement "as part of reducing the offensive capabilities of the Russian aggressor."

Hits on reservoirs caused a large-scale fire at the site. The extent of damage is being clarified.

To disrupt Russian logistics in temporarily occupied Donetsk Oblast, a supplies warehouse of the 20th Motorized Rifle Division subunit was also hit.

In addition, from results of previous strikes, the General Staff confirmed two RVS-5000 vertical reservoirs were damaged at the Temp strategic reserve oil depot in Russia's Yaroslavl Oblast.

"Defense Forces continue measures to undermine the offensive and military-economic potential of Russian occupiers and force Russia to end its armed aggression against Ukraine," the General Staff said.
