Russian troops trying to breach Ukraine border in Kharkiv Oblast repelled by border guards

Russian invasion forces tried for several days to break through positions held by the Hart border brigade, which is defending Ukraine’s state border in Kharkiv Oblast, according to the State Border Guard Service.
According to the border guards, groups of Russian army infantry, supported by artillery and UAVs, attempted to seize forward positions and advance deeper into Ukrainian territory.
“The enemy has not abandoned its aggressive intentions and is searching for directions where it can expand the areas of active combat operations,” the State Border Guard Service stated.
The agency said aerial reconnaissance detected the movement and buildup of Russian troops in time for attacks, and Russian infantry was engaged comprehensively with all available means of destruction.
In this way, border guards blocked the enemy’s attempt to breach the state border: the Russians achieved no success and withdrew. The State Border Guard Service noted that during the defensive battle, 21 Russian soldiers were eliminated and another 11 were wounded.
