Russian attack kills man in Kyiv Oblast, injures civilians elsewhere

A man was killed in Kyiv Oblast as a result of a Russian attack overnight into Tuesday. Several regions reported casualties amid strikes on critical infrastructure. Emergency power outages were also imposed, according to regional officials.
Kyiv Oblast
In Bucha district, a 50-year-old man suffered fatal injuries. Medics fought for his life but could not save him. The man died at the scene, Kyiv regional military administration head Mykola Kalashnyk said.
The attack also damaged the premises of two gas stations.
In Kyiv, one person was injured in the Dniprovskyi district. Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that drone debris damaged an elementary school building and windows in several residential buildings. After the attack, 5,635 apartment buildings were left without heat.
Odesa Oblast
In the morning, Russians attacked civilian infrastructure in Odesa Oblast. Strikes targeted residential areas and energy facilities, regional military administration head Oleh Kiper said.
In the city of Chornomorsk, a UAV struck a multi-story residential building. The facade and glazing were damaged. In the Odesa district, an energy infrastructure facility was also damaged. Preliminary information indicates no casualties.
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration head Oleksandr Hanzha said two women were injured in the city of Dnipro as a result of the overnight Russian attack. Damage included an affected enterprise, broken windows in nearby buildings, and a damaged apartment building.
Rivne Oblast
In Rivne Oblast, more than 10,000 subscribers were left without power due to damage to critical infrastructure. Several homes had windows blown out and cars damaged. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties, regional military administration head Oleksandr Koval said.
Vinnytsia Oblast
As a result of the overnight Russian attack, there was a strike on a critical infrastructure facility in Vinnytsia Oblast. No casualties were reported, regional military administration head Natalia Zabolotna said.
Emergency power outages
Ukrenergo reported that due to the difficult situation in the energy system caused by Russian strikes, emergency power outages were imposed in several regions of Ukraine.
“Previously published blackout schedules in regions where emergency outages are in effect are currently not being followed,” Ukrenergo warned, adding that energy workers are working to restore a stable power supply as quickly as possible.
