Russia launches 11 missiles, 149 drones at Ukraine overnight

Russian forces launched 11 Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 149 strike drones at Ukraine overnight into Monday, with some missiles and 23 drones hitting targets at 15 locations, Ukraine’s Air Force reported.
The ballistic missiles were fired from Russia’s Bryansk Oblast. The drones — including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types, with about 90 Shaheds — were launched from Kursk, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Bryansk and Shatalovo in Russia, as well as Hvardiyske in temporarily occupied Crimea and occupied Donetsk.
Air defense forces, including aviation, surface-to-air missile units, electronic warfare teams, unmanned systems and mobile fire groups, repelled the attack.
As of 9:30 a.m., air defenses had downed or suppressed 116 drones. Some Iskander-M missiles were also intercepted before reaching their targets. Debris from downed drones fell at six additional locations.
