Russia planning water supply disruptions in next Ukraine attacks – Zelenskyy
Russia is preparing a new wave of massive attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure, logistics and water supply systems in an effort to create severe water problems for individual territorial communities, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told journalists on Monday, according to hromadske’s correspondent.
“They want us to have problems specifically with water. Communities must focus on this challenge. On our side, we must obtain more missiles for air defense,” he said.
The president stressed that, despite the end of the harsh winter, the Defense Forces “must remain just as focused in the spring.” He called on air defenders to “shoot down as many as possible Russian targets.”
According to Zelenskyy, over the three winter months Russian forces launched more than 14,600 guided aerial bombs, 738 missiles and nearly 19,000 strike drones at Ukraine, noting that no other nation has faced such trials.
