Russian airstrikes on the eastern Ukrainian town of Druzhkivka in Donetsk Oblast on March 2 killed three people and wounded 16 while damaging 13 homes and 14 vehicles, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reported after completing rubble clearance.

According to the investigation, on March 2, the aggressor attacked a vehicle in Druzhkivka with an FPV drone carrying a woman and four men aged 51 to 60. The victims sustained mine-blast injuries, shrapnel wounds, lacerations, traumatic brain injury, and fractures.

Some time later, Russian troops dropped four FAB-250 bombs equipped with UMPK guidance kits on the settlement. The target was a residential neighborhood. The injured were diagnosed with mine-blast trauma, fractures, concussions, brain concussions, and shrapnel wounds.

The airstrikes damaged 13 residential buildings and 14 vehicles.

Over two days rescuers cleared 55 tons of construction debris, extinguished a fire on the third floor of a damaged building and put out fires in four cars.

Overall, on March 2, Russians carried out 1,437 shellings along the front line and residential areas of Donetsk Oblast. Under fire were Druzhkivka, Kramatorsk, Mykolaivka, and the village of Lvivka.

Overnight into March 4, Russia carried out airstrikes on Slovyansk. According to the investigation, Russian forces dropped three KAB-250 bombs on the suburbs.

The strikes damaged 63 private homes. People were trapped under the rubble of two of them. Emergency workers freed a woman and handed her over to ambulance doctors. Another person was recovered without signs of life. A 65-year-old man was also injured — he sustained a moderate hand wound and received aid on site.
