Ukraine nearly doubles daily Russian troop kills to 1,710
Ukrainian forces eliminated 1,710 Russian troops on Tuesday — nearly double the recent daily average of about 900 — while destroying significant amounts of enemy equipment, the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces reported.
Russian losses over the day also included three tanks, 11 armored fighting vehicles, 29 artillery systems, 1,189 UAVs and 230 units of automotive equipment.
The General Staff recorded 286 combat engagements, with Russian forces launching 78 airstrikes (dropping 257 guided aerial bombs), deploying 7,466 kamikaze drones and carrying out 3,722 shellings of settlements and Ukrainian positions (including 227 from multiple-launch rocket systems).
Ukrainian aviation, missile troops and artillery struck three enemy UAV control points and three troop clusters.
