Russian drones destroy recently renovated lyceum in Chernihiv Oblast
Russian forces destroyed the Avdiivskyi Lyceum in the Ponornytsia territorial community, Chernihiv Oblast, with three Geran drones on Wednesday evening, damaging school buses, regional governor Vyacheslav Chaus reported.
The school had recently switched to a mixed learning format due to frequent air threats after previously conducting in-person classes.
Chaus noted the building had undergone a modern renovation and featured a completely new cafeteria.
On March 18, Russian troops carried out 25 strikes across Chernihiv Oblast, targeting transport infrastructure in the Mena territorial community and the Nizhyn district and damaging a local emergency medical facility building.
