Russian forces attacked Ukrainian regions with 155 strike drones overnight into Monday, along with artillery, rockets, and guided aerial bombs, the Ukrainian Air Force reported.

From 6:00 PM on Sunday, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas drones and Parodiya simulator drones from the following directions: Kursk, Shatalovo, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo in Russia. Drones also flew from temporarily occupied Donetsk and Hvardiyske, which is in Crimea.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Air defenses downed or suppressed 135 drones, but 14 struck 10 locations with debris falling in four others.

Consequences of Russian attacks

In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, the enemy attacked three districts of the region with drones and artillery more than 20 times.

As reported by the regional military administration, a fire broke out in the Petropavlivka territorial community of the Synelnykove district. The strikes there damaged local infrastructure.

In the Nikopol district, local infrastructure was hit: a fire and rescue unit, private homes, and an outbuilding. Women aged 79 and 41 were injured in the attack. They will be treated as outpatients. Infrastructure was damaged in the Zelenodolsk community of the Kryvyi Rih district.

In addition, on Sunday, Russian forces attacked the region with missiles, drones, and artillery. The strikes killed one person and injured 25, including four children. The Russian army also attacked high-rise buildings in Dnipro and Kryvyi Rih. A 19-year-old student at Dnipro National University died in the attack.

In Sumy Oblast, there are civilian deaths and injuries as a result of Russian shelling. A 69-year-old woman who was injured on May 2 as a result of mortar shelling of the Seredyna-Buda community died in the hospital.

According to the regional military administration, during the day, Russian troops carried out almost 40 attacks on 35 settlements in 15 territorial communities of the region. The largest number of attacks occurred in the Sumy, Okhtyrka, and Shostka districts.

The Russians used artillery, FPV drones, UAVs, and guided aerial bombs. They also carried out rocket attacks. They hit residential buildings, cars, administrative buildings, and shops. An educational institution in the Sumy community was also hit.

In Mykolaiv Oblast, Russians attacked the Ochakiv community six times with FPV drones. No casualties were reported.

At the same time, on Sunday morning, the aggressor struck Mykolaiv twice with ballistic missiles, tentatively with Iskander-M missiles.

Five people were injured in the attack: three men aged 63, 65, and 71, and two women aged 46 and 55. They were hospitalized. As of Monday morning, one victim was in serious but stable condition, and the others were in moderate condition. The company's warehouse, 17 private homes, and cars were damaged.

In addition, the Russians attacked Kherson Oblast. Due to the worsening security situation in Kherson, trolleybus traffic was temporarily suspended.
