Russia’s attacks on Zaporizhzhia city and region kill one person and injure 14

Russian forces have been attacking the city of Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia region since the evening of June 16. As of this morning, at least 14 people are reported injured and one person killed, says Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
Drone attacks that have continued since the evening of June 16 damaged Zaporizhzhia National University and caused a fire in a shopping centre.
A drone killed a man when he was driving his car; seven other residents of Zaporizhzhia sought medical attention.

Overnight attacks damaged nine residential and non-residential buildings in the Oleksandrivskyi and Kosmichnyi districts of Zaporizhzhia. These include five apartment buildings and four private houses.
A total of 14 people were injured in the Zaporizhzhia district over the past 24 hours. The occupiers carried out 931 strikes on 50 settlements in the region, including 28 using aviation.
