Russian forces attacked a passenger minibus in a district of Zaporizhzhia on Monday, killing three people, according to regional governor Ivan Fedorov.

Russian forces struck the minibus with a drone. At least six people were wounded in the attack, including a child.

The regional military administration reported that a severely wounded woman died in an ambulance en route to treatment. The death toll stands at three, and the number of wounded climbed to seven.

Earlier, at 11 a.m., Fedorov wrote that authorities had detected a threat of ballistic missile strikes in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. The regional administration later reported a threat of attack drones as well.

The strike came a day after Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia with guided aerial bombs on Sunday, June 28, sparking fires and damaging residential buildings. Among the 16 people wounded in that attack were two children, including a 5-year-old boy who was in serious condition. Two people were killed in the June 28 strike.
