Russian strikes kill 5 in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, hit logistics sites in Pavlohrad
Russian forces struck the Vyshneve territorial community in the Kamyanske district and the city of Pavlohrad in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, killing five people and injuring 10 others, according to regional governor Oleksandr Hanzha.
Three people were killed in the Kamyanske district. Three others were injured and hospitalized. Two were in moderate condition, while a 52-year-old man was in serious condition.
In Pavlohrad, two people were killed in the Russian attack. Seven injured people sought medical help there, including three men ages 52, 56 and 63, and a 54-year-old woman.
Warehouses belonging to logistics companies and a store were on fire in the city, Hanzha added.
At about 10:30 a.m., Ukraine’s Air Force reported a fast-moving target coming from the east toward Kirovohrad Oblast and a jet-powered drone in western Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
At around the same time, an explosion was heard in the Kamyanske district, according to hromadske’s correspondent. At about 11 a.m., the Air Force also reported launches of guided aerial bombs toward the southeast of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
