Russian strike damages Chornomorets stadium in Odesa used by Ukrainian Premier League team
Russian forces attacked the city of Odesa, damaging the Chornomorets football stadium. At least one person was injured, according to regional governor Serhiy Lysak.
Sports infrastructure in the city was damaged, the official reported earlier. Local Telegram channels published videos purportedly showing damage to the Chornomorets stadium.
At 3:48 p.m.: Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Oblast Military Administration, confirmed that the Chornomorets stadium in the city center was struck, sustaining damage to its roof, windows and stands. According to preliminary information, one person was injured.
At around 2:30 p.m., Ukraine's Air Force warned of a jet-powered drone over the Black Sea heading toward Odesa. A threat of missile fire from Crimea remained active as of this report.
