Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces struck 66 targets in Russia and Russian-occupied Ukrainian territories overnight on August 24, including a Russian MiG-29 fighter jet, radar systems and two vessels from Russia’s shadow fleet.

Unmanned Systems Forces Commander Robert “Madyar” Brovdi reported the results of the overnight operation.

According to Brovdi, Ukrainian forces struck a MiG-29 fighter jet in Dolotinka, Rostov Oblast, as well as four Russian radar systems: two Kasta-2E2 systems and a Nebo-SV radar in Rostov Oblast, and an ST-68 radar in Rozdolne in Russian-occupied Crimea.

Two vessels belonging to Russia’s shadow fleet - a tanker and a bulk carrier - were also targeted in the Black Sea, Brovdi said.

The Unmanned Systems Forces also struck Ozon logistics centers in Russia, a Russian special police unit facility in Russian-occupied Kherson Oblast, and several energy facilities in occupied Ukrainian territories.

Earlier on August 24, large fires were reported at Ozon warehouses in three Russian regions - Krasnodar Krai, Stavropol Krai and Dagestan - amid overnight drone attacks.

The strikes marked the third consecutive night that fires were reported at warehouses belonging to Ozon, one of Russia’s largest online marketplaces.
