Russian drones hit two Kyiv gas stations, injuring six
Russian drones struck two gas stations in Kyiv early on Sept. 15, injuring six people, two of them seriously, in the third Russian attack on gas stations in the Ukrainian capital in five days.
A drone hit a gas station in Kyiv’s Darnytskyi district, where one man was hospitalized in serious condition, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said.
Another drone later struck a gas station in the Holosiivskyi district. A hromadske correspondent at the scene reported that a jet-powered Shahed drone hit the station above the checkout area, damaging the roof.
Six people injured in the attacks are being treated in hospitals, according to Klitschko. Two are in serious condition.
The strikes marked the third Russian attack on gas stations in Kyiv since Sept. 10.
On Sept. 11, drones struck gas stations in the Dniprovskyi and Obolonskyi districts, killing two people and injuring nine. One of the stations was hit twice.
A day earlier, a Russian strike on a gas station in the Holosiivskyi district injured four people.
