Russian strikes kill four in Chernihiv and Kremenchuk, including two teenage girls

Russian attacks on the Ukrainian cities of Chernihiv and Kremenchuk killed four people, including two teenage girls, and injured at least 13 others on October 29, local authorities reported.

In the northern city of Chernihiv, a Russian strike hit the city center, killing two underage girls and injuring 11 people, including two minors, according to the city council.

"Ordinary civilians were hit - people who were simply going to work, going about their daily lives and making plans for the day," said Dmytro Bryzhynskyi, head of the city's military administration.

In Kremenchuk, a city in central Ukraine's Poltava Oblast, a Russian drone struck an apartment building, killing two people and injuring two others, including a six-year-old child, regional governor Vitalii Diakivnych reported.

Both injured people were hospitalized.

Parked cars caught fire following the strike, and emergency crews were working at the scene.

The attacks came amid a day of Russian strikes across Ukraine, including a deadly drone attack on a railway platform in Dnipro.
