Russia's Adygea Republic district declares emergency after drone strikes as casualty toll rises to 11

A state of emergency was declared in the Takhtamukay district of Adygea (a federal subject of Russia) after drone attacks. The number of injured in the district has increased to 11, according to Adygea governor Murat Kumpilov.
According to updated information, 11 people were injured. Of them, nine (including two children) were hospitalized. There is no information about fatalities or seriously wounded.
A temporary accommodation point was opened for residents of the damaged apartment building at the Shapsug recreation base. Access to homes and apartments in the district will be granted in stages, as law enforcement completes inspections.
According to preliminary data, 15 cars burned and another 25 were damaged in the parking lot near the affected building.
Background
Kumpilov said drone impacts were recorded in the Takhtamukay district of Adygea. In the village of Novaya Adygea a fire broke out that engulfed a multi-story residential building and a car parking lot.
Meanwhile, videos of the moment the building was hit have appeared online. Social media users suggested the damage was actually caused not by a Ukrainian drone but by a Russian air defense missile.
Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed the destruction of 75 Ukrainian drones overnight.
