A fire broke out at an oil depot in Labinsk, Krasnodar Krai, after a nighttime Ukrainian drone attack, while Russian air defenses downed about 250 drones approaching Moscow over the past two days, Russian officials reported.

Russia’s Krasnodar Krai operational headquarters reported the blaze at the oil storage facility in Labinsk. Social media videos showed thick black smoke rising from the site.

Four fire crews, personnel from local fire-rescue units and Emergencies Ministry specialists were deployed to extinguish the flames.

No casualties were reported.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said air defenses intercepted and destroyed around 250 drones approaching the capital or on secondary approaches over the last two days.

Belgorod Oblast Gov. Vyacheslav Gladkov accused Ukrainian forces of attacking infrastructure, saying the strikes caused injuries, damaged private homes and vehicles.

Russia’s Defense Ministry reported intercepting or destroying 145 Ukrainian drones overnight, including 53 over Moscow Oblast — 46 of them headed toward the Russain capital itself.
