Explosions and drone and missile alerts reported across multiple Russian regions overnight
Explosions and air alerts, including drone and missile danger warnings, were reported overnight in several Russian regions, according to local authorities.
In the Republic of Mordovia, both drone and later missile alerts were issued. The Telegram channel Astra, citing footage from local residents, reported a fire in the city of Saransk caused by a missile strike.
Volgograd Oblast Governor Andrei Bocharov said five private houses were damaged in the region as a result of a drone attack.
In Rostov Oblast, a massive aerial attack occurred overnight, with more than 50 drones destroyed in 10 districts.
Debris fell in the Chertkovsky district, damaging windows in a private house in the village of Sheptukhovka, with no casualties reported. Footage circulated on Telegram channels showing what appeared to be fires in the town of Gukovo.
Missile danger was also declared in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Late in the evening, Belgorod Oblast Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported four people injured, including a teenager, with mine-blast and barotrauma injuries.
Explosions were also reported in occupied Luhansk Oblast, particularly in the settlements of Perevalsk and Dovzhansk.
