Ukrainian drones attacked Russia’s Rostov Oblast overnight into Tuesday, regional governor Yuri Slusar reported.

More than 40 drones were allegedly destroyed during the massive air attack in Taganrog and 11 districts. No casualties were reported.

Caution! Profanity!

Near the settlement of Persyanovsky, the overhead contact system of the railway was damaged, temporarily disrupting train traffic. Open-source data indicate that the headquarters and command of Russia’s 150th Guards Motorized Rifle Idritsa-Berlin Division (military unit 22179) is located there. Presumably, the attack was directed at this military unit.

As a result, three northbound trains were stopped near Novocherkassk station and four southbound trains near Kamenolomni station. Power to the contact network has since been restored and train traffic resumed in both directions.

In the Aksay district, in the settlement of Rekonstruktor, drone debris damaged windows in two houses and partially destroyed a roof.
