Drones hit Russian facilities in Yaroslavl and Krasnodar Krai, igniting blaze at Taman port (VIDEO)

Ukrainian drones struck multiple Russian regions overnight, damaging an industrial facility in Russia's Krasnodar Krai and a factory in Yaroslavl, with nearly 100 emergency responders deployed to fight a resulting fire, according to Russian regional officials.

The operational headquarters of Russia's Krasnodar Krai reported that drone debris fell on the grounds of an industrial facility in the village of Volna, in the Temryuk district.

Equipment on the premises caught fire. As of 6:30 a.m. local time, the blaze was still being extinguished — 96 personnel and 29 pieces of equipment were deployed, including staff from the Russian Emergency Ministry's main directorate for Krasnodar Krai.

Video circulating on social media purportedly showed the fire at a local port. The village of Volna is home to the Taman seaport, a cargo transfer facility specializing in petroleum products and dry bulk cargo.

Preliminary reports indicate one person was injured in the attack and is receiving medical assistance. One additional casualty was reported in the stanitsa of Taman, where drone debris was found at several locations.

In Yaroslavl Oblast, Gov. Mikhail Evraev said that air defense and electronic warfare systems repelled a Ukrainian drone attack on approach to Yaroslavl in the early morning hours of Wednesday. Most of the drones were shot down, but debris from one intercepted drone struck an industrial facility in Yaroslavl. No casualties were reported.
