Fire breaks out at Novorossiysk fuel terminal after overnight drone attack
A fire broke out at a fuel-oil terminal in Russia's Black Sea port of Novorossiysk following an overnight drone attack, according to eyewitness footage geolocated by open-source researchers.
Novorossiysk Mayor Andrei Kravchenko said Russian forces were repelling a drone attack overnight and also issued a missile warning.
Kravchenko said drone debris fell on the grounds of local businesses and near a residential building. No casualties were reported in preliminary information.
Footage posted on social media showed a fire at the Novorossiysk terminal, which is part of the Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port, Russia's largest seaport.
A fire was also reported at an apartment building on Volgogradskaya Street in the city.
