At least six injured in second Russian attack on Kyiv in one day

At least six people were injured in a Russian attack on Kyiv on the evening of Oct. 7, hours after an earlier missile strike killed two people in the Ukrainian capital, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said.
Falling debris caused a fire in a five-story residential building in the city’s Solomianskyi district. Emergency workers were seen rescuing people from balconies, according to witnesses.
Debris also landed on the roof of a four-story administrative building in the Sviatoshynskyi district and in an open area in the Dniprovskyi district.
The casualty count remained preliminary as of 6 p.m.
Russia had attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles earlier the same day, killing two men. Damage from the morning attack was reported in the Podilskyi and Darnytskyi districts.
