Russia once again attacked Kyiv with Shaheds: two high-rise buildings catch fire, casualties reported

Overnight, Russian troops once again attacked Kyiv with drones. Debris from drones fell in six districts of the capital, and two casualties are confirmed, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration.

Falling debris was recorded in the Sviatoshynskyi district. A 16-story residential building caught fire there. Residents are being evacuated.

Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that two victims were injured in the Sviatoshynskyi district in the residential building where the fire occurred. One of them was hospitalized, the other was treated by doctors on the spot.

The State Emergency Service of Kyiv reported that as a result of the attack by the Shahed drones there was a fire on an area of 50 square meters and partial destruction in apartments on the 15th and 16th floors of a 16-story residential building.

The fall of drone debris on the territory of a residential building was also reported in the Solomyanskyi district of the capital. According to preliminary information, window glazing was damaged in several buildings.

Information on casualties or destruction is being clarified.

The Kyiv City Military Administration reported that debris also fell in the Dniprovskyi district of the capital — in a 9-story residential building, a balcony on one of the floors caught fire on an area of 2 square meters. Information about the victims was not received.

According to Mayor Klitschko, in the Shevchenkivskyi district, fragments of a drone hit an office building. According to preliminary information, there was a fire on one of the floors. Emergency services are available on site.

As of 09:30, it is already known about the fall of debris in six districts of the capital — in Solomyanskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Holosiyivskyi, Pecherskyi and Dniprovskyi. All fires were extinguished.
