Russian attacks kill 1, wound 2 in Kharkiv Oblast
Russian forces attacked populated areas in the Kharkiv, Kupyansk, and Bohodukhiv districts of Kharkiv Oblast throughout Thursday, killing one person and wounding two others, the Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration, police, and State Emergency Service reported.
The aggressor used six Geran-2 (Shahed) drones, two drones of an unidentified type and one missile.
In Dokuchayevske village of the Kharkiv district, a drone strike hit a civilian enterprise warehouse, igniting a large fire that spread over more than 5,000 square meters; no casualties were reported there initially.
Shelling continued in Kupyansk district: a house in Novoosynove village was completely destroyed, killing a 47-year-old local woman, while a 52-year-old resident of a nearby dacha cooperative was wounded.
In Velykyi Burluk village, an administrative building was damaged. Separately, authorities learned that a 54-year-old civilian man injured on Wednesday in Chorne village had been hit by an enemy FPV drone.
In Hubarivka village of the Bohodukhiv district, attacks damaged power lines.
