At least 5 killed, 19 injured in Russian missile strike on Merefa near Kharkiv

Russian forces launched a missile strike on the town of Merefa in the Kharkiv district on Monday, killing at least five people and wounding 19 others, regional governor Oleg Synegubov and the Office of the Prosecutor General reported.
Among the dead were men aged 50 and 63 and women aged 41 and 52.
Three of the injured are in serious condition, 13 suffered moderate blast injuries, and two experienced acute stress reactions. All are receiving medical care.
The strike damaged a local auto service station, at least 10 private houses, four stores, an administrative building, two vehicles and a food establishment. Rescue and debris clearing operations are underway.
The attack came after Russia launched 155 strike drones and decoys across Ukraine overnight into Monday.
