Ukrainian Defense Forces destroy Russian anti-aircraft missile systems in Crimea

On the night of June 10, the Ukrainian military successfully attacked anti-aircraft missile systems in temporarily occupied Crimea.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

One S-400 anti-aircraft missile division of the occupiers near the town of Dzhankoi and two more S-300 divisions near the settlements of Chornomorske and Yevpatoriia were attacked.

“None of our missiles were intercepted by the enemy's 'highly effective' air defense,” the General Staff emphasized.

In particular, in these areas, after the strikes by Ukrainian missile launchers, the radars of the S-300/S-400 systems immediately stopped working. In addition, the military noted further detonation of ammunition in all three areas of the starting positions of the Russian anti-aircraft missile divisions.

The General Staff noted that due to the successful combat work of the Defense Forces, the air defense of the Russian occupiers in Crimea suffered significant losses.

It should be noted that the day before, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine confirmed a strike on S-300/S-400 missile systems in Russia. The attack was carried out on June 1 using “Western-style artillery systems”.
