Ukrainian Defense Forces hit one of Russia's largest refineries (VIDEO)

Overnight, drones of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) engaged the facilities of the Ryazan Oil Refining Company, a source in the SBU told hromadske.

"This refinery is one of the largest in Russia with a processing capacity of 17 million tons of oil per year. At least three tanks are burning there," the source said.

The fire also engulfed a workshop that houses a hydrotreating plant for diesel fuel and aviation kerosene. Local residents said on social media that they counted more than 50 explosions.

In addition, drones attacked the Ryazan oil pumping station and the Ryazan CHPP.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also reported the damage to the Kremniy El microelectronics plant in Bryansk.

"This is one of the key enterprises of the microelectronics industry of Russia. The plant produces a wide range of microcircuits and components that are used in strategically important weapons systems. In particular, in the Topol-M and Bulava missile complexes, the S-300 and S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems, as well as in the on-board electronics of combat aircraft," they reported.
